Rami Khouri
Rami Khouri is Director of the Issam Fares Institute of Public Policy and International Affairs at the American University of Beirut, as well as Editor-at-large of the Beirut-based Daily Star newspaper, published throughout the Middle East with the International Herald Tribune.

He is author of A View from the Arab World, an internationally syndicated political column. His work has been published in leading international publications, including the Financial Times, the Boston Globe and the Washington Post.
He lectures in media and politics at the University of Chicago and is a senior fellow at the JFK School of Government at Harvard University. He was a visiting scholar at Stanford University in 2006.
In 2006, he was the co-recipient of the Pax Christi International Peace Award for his efforts to bring peace and reconciliation to the Middle East. He is a member of the international advisory board of the Red Cross.
Rami regularly talks to corporations and governments all over the world on aspects of the Middle East.
