The Hot Topic has been published in more than 20 countries and translated into a dozen languages. Commercially minded, she gives talks and provides strategic advice to corporations and governments on how best to prepare and respond to the implications of climate change.

Gabrielle Walker has worked closely with the UK government on energy strategy and policy. She has worked with the UK Government Chief Scientific Advisor, formerly Sir David King, and latterly with Professor John Beddington, and with a number of departments, including Department for Transport (DfT, Department for Business, Energy and Regulatory Reform (BERR)and the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC.

Gabrielle has worked on climate change and its implications for practical business strategy in the energy sector for many companies, including British Energy, BP, Royal Mail, Tesco, KPMG, Tata Sons (India), Financial Security Assurance (New York).
